Chaotic co-op extraction · 1–6 players
Something is draining people in their sleep. You and five friends have a vacuum gun. Suck up the dream, fire it back, feed the portal to buy time, and wake the Dreamer before the dream burns to the ground.
Chairs, teapots, wardrobes, a friend, the Dreamer himself. If it fits in the barrel, it's ammo now.
The dream runs on one shared timer. Every object you fire into the portal adds seconds — for everyone.
Break the seal, find the Dreamer, drag or shoot him to the portal. Do it before the fire eats the map — and you.
See it in motion
Not horror — a cartoon catastrophe. Ragdolls, flying furniture, someone in a top hat and moustache getting shot out of a pneumatic tube. The jokes aren't scripted; they come from physics and whatever your friends yell into the mic.
Wishlist on SteamWhy you'll be yelling
Hold to swallow whatever you're pointing at. Tap to fire it back. A teapot is a pistol round; a wardrobe is a cannonball that knocks a monster flat. Ten slots in the barrel — three wardrobes or ten cups, your call — and what went in last comes out first.
The same gun drains evil energy, drags a friend's body, doubles as a jetpack in zero-g and, with an empty barrel, blows everyone around you across the room.
Other games trade loot for a quota. Here every object fired into the portal adds seconds to one timer the whole squad shares. Shoot a wardrobe at a toad and you didn't spend a bullet — you spent thirty seconds of everyone's life.
When the timer hits zero the dream doesn't end. It burns: a wall of fire sweeps the map towards the portal. Feed the portal fast enough and the fire retreats and the rooms come back. Panic is optional. Recommended, but optional.
No respawns. Die and you're a ghost: you can watch, you can talk to the other dead, and the living can't hear a word. Unless your friends drag your body into the pneumatic tube behind the portal and pay 30 seconds of shared time to fire you back out alive.
Enemies hear your microphone. Closed doors muffle it. Choose your words.
It's someone else's dream, so nothing has to make sense: a casino next to a cave, a cinema next to a castle, a five-storey atrium over lava, a room where gravity gave up. Every dive is generated fresh and each rescue takes you one dream deeper — more rooms, more monsters, more people to save, less time.
Coins earned between runs go into the Locker: hundreds of hats, moustaches, onesies and pig snouts. Nothing makes you faster. Everything makes you funnier to watch die.

Locked behind a seal of stolen energy. Invulnerable, useless, and in a blind panic — he runs, trips, gets up and runs again. Carry him, tow him, or just shoot him across the room.

More than ten kinds of monster, each with its own bad idea: a toad that eats your loot — and your time — a demon whose rocks invert your controls, a chest that might not be a chest. They see, they hear, and they come looking when you hide.

Voices come out of characters' mouths and fade with distance. The dead get their own channel. The monsters get yours — closed doors muffle it, carpet is quieter than grating.

The evil drains people in their sleep. Your gun drains the evil. Find the glowing clots feeding the seal, pump them dry, and the door to the Dreamer opens for everyone at once.

Some rooms let go of the floor. Suck to pull yourself forward, blow to push back, fire for a boost. Bounce off the walls like a ball.

Every rescue takes the squad one dream deeper: more rooms, more monsters, more Dreamers to save per run, and less time to do it. Fail, and you're thrown back to the surface.

SOMNIUS releases on September 22, 2026. Wishlist on Steam and you'll be notified the moment it goes live.
From 1 to 6 players. Play solo, or in online co-op with proximity voice chat — host a lobby for your friends or join theirs.
PC via Steam at launch, with keyboard and mouse or any gamepad — Xbox, DualShock and DualSense are supported. Other platforms are not announced yet.
You dive into a level, grab what you can and have to get back out alive. Somnius twists it twice: what you grab is also your ammo, and it buys time instead of money — the level is burning down on a timer the whole squad shares.
From a few minutes to about a quarter of an hour, depending on how well you feed the portal. Each rescue takes you one dream deeper, and deeper dreams give you less time.
